The Swedish School in Phoenix

Classes are hold every Tuesday for an hour and a half
The school is geared towards children ages 5 to 17 years old
The curriculum is designed for all levels of knowledge
Beside the Swedish language, students also learn about traditions, geography, history, and literature
Students must have at least one family member who speaks Swedish in their home
For students planning to go back to full-time Swedish schools the school offers a distance learning program through a partnership with Sofia Skola in Stockholm

The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce

The primary objective of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce (SACC) in Arizona/New Mexico is to encourage and promote an exchange of technology, trade and culture between Sweden and the United States as well as assisting in the site selection process to locate their business in Arizona or New Mexico. SACC also arranges varying social activities throughout the year which promotes healthy networking.

Swedish Women's Educational Association SWEA

SWEA is a global organization for Swedish and Swedish speaking women who are currently living or have lived abroad. Joining all members via our common language, ethnicity, and culture, SWEA becomes both a meeting place and a safety net having connections around the world. This makes life easier while living abroad and also supports members when moving back to Sweden. SWEA's Goal is to preserve the Swedish language, support and spread Swedish culture and traditions, help create personal and professional connections, as well as establish a world wide network of SWEA members
